Policies

Return Policy

You may return any item you are dissatisfied with due to damage within 7 days of purchase, for an exchange. We would prefer that you come visit us again as a happy customer, knowing that if you're not satisfied with whatever you purchase from us, that you can return it and receive credit or an exchange if a damaged product.  Please contact us for information on returning a product prior to doing so. 

We understand that there are occasions when a return or exchange may be necessary. Please measure & choose wisely when ordering to avoid the extra return charges.  Please read all these Policies first.  If you are not completely delighted with your purchase please follow the guidelines below:

Returns must be made within 7 days of receipt of your merchandise.   All returns must be in their original packaging (box, etc.) and in the condition in which they were purchased. Only merchandise that is unused - no dog hairs on item, odors or dirt. Please wrap your item carefully; package and ship it so that damage does not occur.
Credit will not be issued for return of used merchandise. Custom orders are not returnable. Follow the instructions of the Policies herein. 

Your shipping and handling fees are not refundable (except for defective products).

15% Restocking Fee:
Pet Beds, Dog Houses, Pet Ramps, Booster Bath, Pet Gates, Crates, Cages, Pens and Kennels, Exercise Pens, Pet Barriers, Pet Strollers (Manufactures' Policies)
10% Restocking Fee:
All items not listed above are subject to a 10% restocking fee.


The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. 
We recommend insuring the product for the full product value. Customer must provide tracking with proof of delivery, USPS offers a delivery confirmation option; UPS/FEDEX will automatically give you a tracking number.  Best Pet Kennels is not responsible for lost or undelivered products.
If an insured item becomes lost, it is the customer's responsibility to file a claim with the Post Office to recover their loss for their merchandise, that is a transaction between you and the United States Postal Service.

If you are returning an item that has Free shipping:

.your credit will be the price paid for the product less the shipping costs we incurred to ship the product to you & any applicable re-stocking fees (see above).  Initial outbound and return shipping charges are not refundable.  In the event your order initially shipped with free or discounted shipping; outbound shipping and handling costs will be deducted from the refund.

If you would like to return an item, please let us know via email at the Contact Us page. We will send you a reply with return instructions. Please do not return merchandise without first contacting us or you may not receive a refund. We do not accept returns after 7 days unless other stated herein.

Exceptions:

Dogger™  Stroller:  

7 Day Return Policy for defective Dogger with replacement.  We will pay for return shipping on defective products.
 
For long term coverage, the Dogger's 5 year warranty on all frame related parts, represents the best product protection in the market today.  We'll pay for the return shipping only on defective products.

Dog car seats, Pet Bicycle Baskets, Innotek products, Dog Carriers, Pet Wheel-Around's, Pet Trailers, Dog Beds, Cargo Liners & Barriers, Pet Pens, Custom Made Seat Covers,  manufacturer states returns will have a 15% Re-Stocking deduction. Other shipping deductions may apply.

Pet Habitats: BioBubbles are exchangeable for defective products. Otherwise, the product is final sale and non-refundable.

PET BEDS & BLANKET returns:
 
Health regulations do not allow the exchange or return of these products. Manufacturer policy: BOWSER BRAND DOG BEDS ARE NOT RETURNABLE as well as any monogrammed products.

Nature Nap Oval Bed & Organic Build-A-Bumper Bed: 
We warranty all of our products against any manufacturing defects. Should a defect occur, you may return the product for credit or exchange within 14 days of purchase. Nondefective or unused product, this manufacturer states that it may be returned within 14 days of purchase and will receive a 10% restock fee. Unauthorized returns will be subject to 25% restock fee. No credits or exchanges will be made on returns over 14 days. Please fill out the Contact Us form.

For Deluxe Pet Residence, Side Load Pet Residence, Wicker Pet Residence, Decorative Litter Pan Cover, Decorative Cat Hut, Decorative Cat Pod and Combo Scratching Platform: 
Manufacturer states products can be returned if unused and in the original packaging within 14 days from the order ship date.  There is a $10 restocking fee per item.  These products carry a 1 Year Limited Warranty.  If there is a warranty issue with the product, we are happy to send a replacement.

Damaged Goods Policy

For returns of an item that may be damaged due to a factory defect (these are very uncommon) within 14 days, we will ship a replacement after receipt of your damaged item at no additional cost to you.  Fill out a Contact Us form (within 14 days) before shipping any merchandise.

For Package Damages:  Please contact the package carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) and file a claim using the package tracking number. All claims must be filed with the carrier.  Please contact us.

Refused Orders

Refusal of an item delivered by UPS, DHL,FEDEX,USPS or common carrier, credit will be issued for the item less shipping charges both ways and less a 10% re-stocking fee. Your credit will be issued once the item has been returned & inspected by us.

Back Order Policy


Our purchasing department is second to none in the industry. Our systems control back orders and keep them to a minimum for your convenience. Customer satisfaction is our primary goal. If an item you purchased is backordered, we will contact you with further instructions.

Shipping Policy

Standard Shipping - Most items ship UPS or FedEx. We do not require a signature for deliveries, but the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the carrier's discretion.

Most Items will ship within 24 hours and deliver from 2 to 10 business days (depending on manufacturer and state to be shipped to). Holiday seasons, large orders, custom items, special orders and out of stock items may take longer.  An email will be sent from us to keep you up to date on tracking of your package and arrival date.
